Progest-avail is a topical progesterone serum providing 20 mg of bioidentical progesterone in each 1 ml serving. It consists of a super-micronized form of progesterone in a proprietary triglyceride carrier that facilitates better absorption than conventional creams. This serum also contains a sugar-based complex (dimethyl isosorbide) that increases progesterone solubility, facilitates proper penetration through the skin at an efficient rate, and helps preserve the potency of the progesterone. Progest-avail does not contain parabens, mineral oil, and petroleum. Recommended use: apply 1 ml (20 mg usp progesterone) 1 to 2 times per day to smooth skin areas, such as the wrists, inner arms, thighs, throat, neck, abdomen, or chest, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Ingredients: caprylic/capric triglyceride (from coconut), dimethyl isosorbide, usp bioidentical progesterone (ultra-micronized), and vitamin e.
